Our Heavenly Trip to Hawaii

Jeremiah and I went on the most heavenly vacation to Hawaii without our babies. It was such a great break! I look forward to doing this every year--a trip for just me and Jeremiah without our kiddos! It was an adjustment going from 24 seven baby land to life without my sweet babes. However, I adjusted fast and enjoyed every minute of the freedom and relaxation. However, I really did miss them and by the end of the week I was ready to see them again.
We went to the beautiful island of Maui from Saturday, June 28th through Friday, July 4th. We loved sleeping in and eating out every night. We stayed in a nice condo in Kahana right across the street from the gorgeous ocean and beaches. We went snorkeling and saw beautiful fish, relaxed on the beach and got scorched (NOT planned-we really did wear sunblock!), read our books, played in the waves, went to an entertaining luau, drove the twisty road to Hana, swam in the seven sacred pools and under waterfalls, hiked through a bamboo forest, enjoyed fresh tropical fruit and smoothies, biked down a volcano, ate out lots, explored Front Street and shopped at Whalers' Village. It was such a fun week filled with wonderful memories that will hold me through until next year's get away! Thanks Jeremiah for taking me to Maui like I've always wanted!! You're the best husband ever and I love you so much!

On the road to Hana we saw the most amazing trees--Rainbow Eucalyptus

The waterfall I swam under and I loved the rope swing. I felt like Jayne of the jungle!
