Memorial Day Weekend in Greer

We went to Greer, AZ for Memorial Day weekend with Jeremiah's family- May 23-27, 2008. We go to Greer every Memorial Day weekend with his family and stay in a cabin that they rent. We had a great time, although Jeremiah and I came home wiped out because we didn't get much sleep with the six of us in one tiny room. The babies didn't sleep too well. This year was very different from the rest because it snowed and because we brought our sweet kiddos. It's so beautiful there. We had a great time enjoying the outdoors, having a campfire, playing games, going on walks, etc. The babies experienced many firsts on this trip--their first campfire, seeing snow for the first times, going to the mountains for the first time, riding in a baby carrier backpack, etc.

Here's Jeremiah with his handsome boys on the awesome porch swing our cabin had.

Here's Addison, Brynlee, Cambria and Weston with Grandma and Grandpa Cluff

Here's Cambria with aunt Candy, Addison with his second cousin Alex, Weston with mom and Brynlee with Grandpa. They loved seeing their first campfire!
Addison and mom on a walk
Weston just loved growling as we hiked through the area around our cabin
The proud mother, just happy to have survived the weekend, with her darling girls

Cambria practicing walking with uncle Ray--aren't her tennis shoes so cute!
Jeremiah was in charge of cooking our tin foil dinners. He did an awesome job!

Aunt Candy with Brynlee and Grandma with Cambria. It was very cold!
Brynlee and Addison enjoying pizza for the first time at a restaurant in Eager
Cambria waving "hi" to daddy on our walk

Cambria loved riding in the baby carrier

Jeremiah and I walked our babies down to the Quakerbarrel, where Grandpa sells his wood carvings, from our cabin. It was a tough work out!
Brynlee and mommy enjoying the snow

Brynlee wasn't quite sure about riding on mommy's back.

Cambria loved playing with the magna-doodle that her second cousin, Macey, brought

Weston with mom and Addison with Grandma. Doesn't Weston look like a little gangster! We only had one winter hat and mittens for the babies, so I had to make a baby hat fit him and we used baby booties for his hands that we bought at Kmart!

You are the bravest parents in the world. I don't know that I would feel up to attempting such an adventure with four babies. It looks like you all had a great time, and that you had lots of helping hands. Love you!

How cute are these pictures. I love the matching Greer t-shirts the kids are wearing. I looks like the babies had fun other than not sleeping well at night. I am waiting to see the birthday pictures. I bet they are so cute! Talk to you later.
