Fun at Freestone Park

On Wednesday March 3rd I decided to be spontaneous. I felt bored of our same routine, so with Maria's help I got all of the kids ready and loaded the car and went to spend the morning at Freestone Park and then afterwards we went to McDonalds for lunch and the kids had a grand time playing in the play area. It is really getting so fun with these little kids because going places with them is more doable now. It's nice to have them getting to the age where they really enjoy doing all these fun things. Freestone is such a beautiful park. We went to two different playgrounds there and the kids loved watching the ducks. At McDonalds the kids loved eating French fries and chicken nuggets. It's fun that we're doing more stuff that kids that are born one at a time do. I'm so incredibly grateful to have Maria's help. Without her, I wouldn't be able to go many places safely with these four little munchkins.
It was a very fun day!!
Every time I would give Addison a push on the swings he would just giggle with joy!

Cute Weston enjoying the swing

Maria took a picture of me with the kids running through the field.

Brynlee standing by the play structure. She's been going through a stage lately where she's very frightened to try new things or is very shy in new places. This was one of those days for her.

I love Weston's little smile to himself as he went down the tunnel slide

Grandma and Uncle Ray's Birthday Party

On March 7th Jeremiah's family got together at our house to celebrate Grandma Cluff and Ray's birthdays. Ray is Jeremiah's brother-in-law and the kids now call him Uncle Ray after much practice with Ray having them repeat his name. Our kids absolutely have a blast with Uncle Ray. He's a great play structure for the kids to play on. This post is just a collection of some cute pictures of the kids from that night.

Mommy and Weston...I just love this rough and tumble little boy!

I just love my sweet little Brynlee!

Addison had fun playing with the tissue paper from the gifts.

I just bought the boys some new baseball hats and I love it how Addison put his on backwards just how Daddy wears his baseball hats. I love my handsome, sweet Addison!

Here's Brynlee and Cambria with their biggest fan--Grandma. I'm so grateful to my in-laws, Paul and Rochelle, for all the love they show my children.

I just bought these shirts at Old Navy and I just cracked up when I saw the year 1994 on the back of their shirts like this was so long ago. That was the year I graduated from high school. I am getting old!

I love this pictures of Addison just chilling in Ray's b-day present. That's Uncle Ray in the background.

Ah....sister love.

These are just some sweet shots of the gang all together in their new clothes. It amazes me how much joy these four little people have brought to my life. I feel so lucky to be their mommy.

Our Little Lady--Miss Cambria

Our sweet Cambria is getting so fun and grown up these days. I can't believe how much she's talking and what a cute little lady she's becoming. I feel so blessed to be her mommy. Cambria makes life so fun and truly brings me so much joy. She is constantly making me laugh with the cute things she does and says. Tonight while Jeremiah and I were getting the kids ready for bed, we looked over and Cambria was riding on our two little rocking horses side-by-side at the same time. While we were saying family prayers, she climbed on my back and then after prayers I crawled around with her on my back and pretended that I was a horse. When horsey time was over I made a snoring sound and said that I was tired. She patted my face and said "you okay" and put her pointer finger to her lips and said "shhh." She must have thought I was sad or something. Cambria loves to brush our hair and run her fingers through her daddy's hair. He loves it when she does that. Cambria is very polite. Often when I bring her milk in the morning to her crib she says "Thank you mommy." Those words just warm my heart. She gives the best hugs and kisses and says "I love you mommy." It's so cute to see the kids expressing their feelings of love verbally more and more. Cambria's favorite words are "What are you doing mommy?" It's so cute to see her trying to instigate a conversation with me and Jeremiah. After I've answered her question she'll tell me what she's doing and so I've learned to ask her the same question back so she can tell me what she's doing also. She loves to clean up using a rag and her new thing is when she's sees that we're done eating our food, she loves to carry our plates to the sink. I'm amazed at how aware and thoughtful she is of other people's needs. She's is just such a happy, sweet, little girl.
The scene below is quite common around here. Cambria loves to put on my high heels and I swear she walks better in heels than I do and I'm 30 years older than she is. She really is just a natural at being a cute little lady. She found my baseball hat and put that on too. Later I found Weston trying to walk around in those same heels. He wasn't quite as good at it as Cambria, which is a good thing.
Isn't she a cutie!!

The girls went to their first b-day party at Chuck E. Cheese!

Cambria and Brynlee were invited to their first birthday party. My friend Tawna's daughter celebrated her 3rd birthday at Chuck E. Cheese on February 27th and it was the girls first time to go there. They had a grand time. Brynlee was a bit overwhelmed by all the noises and lights from all the games, but Cambria adjusted quickly and used most of the tokens on the games because Brynlee was not interested. Brynlee's favorite part was of course the cake and having her own big cup of fruit punch. It was a very fun, new experience for the girls and it was very enjoyable for me to have some time with just my sweet girls. I think Cambria really enjoyed looking at the birthday cake with all the princesses on it. I'm amazed how she already knows about princesses and I don't even remember teaching her about them. The other morning when I was getting her ready for church and I put on her a pretty pink tutu skirt that she had never worn before, she looked at me and said, "Mommy, I'm a princess." It was the most adorable thing!
Here's Brynlee wearing the blue frosting all over her face. She was in heaven!

What a sweet picture of Cambria enjoying her cake! That is a moment of sheer joy.

Have you ever seen two little girls so happy to be eating cake?

The Kids Climbing the Tree

It's been a beautiful winter with lots of sunshine mixed with some very rainy days. I just love rainy days! On February 16th, I ventured out into the neighborhood with the kids to let them ride their tricycles. Only Weston has totally figured out how to ride his. My neighbors from across the street came to visit with us. I got talking to them and then noticed that Weston was up in our little tree in our front yard. He is my child that is always discovering new things and getting into lots of trouble and messes. Of course he'd be the one to figure out how to climb a tree first! He's such a smart and curious little boy! The other kids had fun following his lead. This little tree almost died after it fell over after a big storm several years ago, but Jeremiah kept working with it and now it's the perfect little tree for the kids to climb.

Addison isn't as strong as Weston, but he worked so hard to get himself up in that tree.

Brynlee got herself up in the tree and Weston had fun swinging from one of the branches.

Here's monkey man (Weston) himself up in the tree. Isn't he cute? Ever since he was little Jeremiah has called him monkey man because he had pj's with monkeys on the feet and he sure has lived up to his name.

Our first visit to the Arizona Museum for Youth

On Saturday, February 20th, Jeremiah and I took the kids to the Arizona Museum for Youth! It was the most amazing place and just a perfect place for the kids to play. I look forward to going back there sometime with the kids. They had such a blast!

Here's Weston and Brynlee cooking up some yummy food in the kitchen.

I just loved seeing Weston in an apron just his size!

I love these pictures of the kids in the little Jeep they had at the museum!
