Brynlee the Biter

Brynlee, Addison, Weston and Cambria will be 16 months old Monday. I just can't believe how grown up they're getting. New things are happening around our household all of the time.
On September 22nd, this sweet little thing:
BRYNLEE

bit this cute little boy:

WESTON.The two of them were laughing and having a grand time rolling over each other when all of the sudden, Brynlee bit Weston. Don't those teeth marks look awful?! You can literally see Brynlee's two bottom teeth and her teeth on the top. I don't even think Brynlee realized what she had done, but we're still keeping our eyes on her so that she hopefully won't bite again. It's sad when your sweet, innocent babies do things not so sweet and innocent. I guess it's all a part of growing up. It appears that time outs are going to be a regular part of our lives from now on.

Look at those awful bruises on Weston's forehead and eyebrow. It's so sad how often our kids are bumping their heads on things.

It's so sweet how quickly the babies forgive each other. After the biting incident, Weston and Brynlee still enjoyed playing with each other that night.

Your kids are getting so big it is amazing to watch them grow. That looks like an awful bite. I remember Caleb and his girl cousin would bite eachother all the time, this to shall pass. Good Luck!!!

Ouch! That looks horrible. Poor little guy. So cute though. I'm sure that's not the last of the bites either.

Biting...I remember those days like they yesterday! Quinci wasn't a huge biter (except for my should area - OUCH!!) but she was often bitten! I think that says that she probably went around just asking for it with her personality!

This phase, too, shall pass! Enjoy everything while you can!

Our little one is biting now too. How do you stop it? I would love any tips from the super momma!

You will go through many fun toddler stages. Brady went through a phase of hitting. I was glad when that one was over!

Poor kid. We have a biter. We call him piranha baby. I had to laugh though. He looks so sad.
